CHIROPRACTIC CONSULTATION
Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
Doctors of Chiropractic – often referred to as chiropractors, practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment.
Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.
POSTURE ANALYSIS
Your skeletal structure is the frame on which the remainder of your body, including muscles, nerves, organs, connective tissue, and your blood vessels, rests. Your spinal column is the center trunk that supports your body as well as your entire nervous system. Your spinal cord is housed within your spinal column and extends from your brain down through your vertebrae in the center of your back all the way down to your seat.
The spinal cord is responsible for receiving and transmitting signals to and from your brain. These signals control movement, reflexes, and carry sensory information, including pain, from the periphery of your body to the brain. As the entire body is interconnected, misalignments and malfunctions of any section of your skeleton or spine can result in pain or injury in other, seemingly unrelated, areas.
Poor spinal alignment or damage to your spinal column can affect body functioning negatively and result in pain.
EXCERCISE PRESCRIPTION
NUTRITIONAL SUGGESTIONS
Although injuries to muscles are common in sports, the majority of painful musculoskeletal conditions stem from compromise of tissues such as tendons, ligaments, joint capsules, fascia, cartilage and underlying bone, spinal discs, and associated nerves and blood vessels. These tissues have low metabolism, limited nutritional supply, and take much longer to heal than muscles.

Tissue training is specific. Cartilage in joints, discs in the spine, bone, ligaments and tendons all require different training. Even muscles need specific training, depending on what they are asked to do with activities. Every condition and every individual is unique. Therefore, for exercise to have the optimal effect, and not be destructive, and to also help each person attain his or her goals, it is important to get the right exercise prescription.

Nutrition is important because it helps individuals attain optimal health throughout life, according to the National Health and Medical Research Council of the Australian Government. Eating a balanced diet improves a person's health and well-being and reduces risks of major causes of death.
People need a large variety of different foods to obtain sufficient amounts of nutrients for a healthy body. With good nutrition, people can reduce the risk of numerous diet-related diseases, including coronary heart disease, stroke, hypertension, obesity, osteoporosis and nutritional anemia.
A person's daily food choices considerably affect his overall health. When combined with physical activity, a healthy diet can help people keep a healthy weight and reduce risk of chronic diseases. Poor diet is closely linked to major health risks even for people with a healthy weight.
